Prologue

This is a story about a boy
much like other boys
who likes to laugh
to sing
to dance
although not too well

and so this is a story about his life
about the things that change him
that blow his mind
and the things that catch his thoughts
the soft twisting of a butterfly
the sound of a forest;restless in a storm
the way an everlasting, righteous, holy God dances and sings in the world

these are some unspoken words
that he wishes he could say
and so he does
